I’m a producer and reporter based in Los Angeles and eager to find the next great story, wherever it takes me.
Now at CBS News, I cover business, tech, and consumer news for all of our platforms. I have produced broadcast and digital stories on everything from how immigration policy affects agriculture and how A.I. factors into college admissions to the hardships on spousal caregivers and small business concerns ahead of a presidential election.
Previously, I worked at NBC News’ network assignment desk, where I covered breaking news including the Las Vegas shooting, Hurricanes Maria, Harvey, and Irma, and had a hand in countless stories on our air. I collaborated closely with NBC News embeds and political desk leadership to cover the 2020 Presidential primary, leveraging our reporting across the entire org.
My passion is finding the real people at the heart of our stories. Whether scouring social media, making cold calls, securing high-profile interviews, or connecting with folks in the field, I’m a skilled booker who can build connections near and far.
Mentoring the next generation of great journalists is vital to our industry’s success. That’s why I take a hands-on approach with interns, including developing a boot camp program to help them achieve their professional goals while immersing themselves in the newsroom. From resume reviews and informational interviews to social newsgathering and writing, I prepare our interns to succeed throughout their careers.
I started my career in the NBCUniversal East Coast Page Program, where I rotated through assignments with Corporate Communications, All In with Chris Hayes, Elections Graphics, and Weekend TODAY.
I graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx with a dual degree in American Studies and Communication and Media Studies. As an undergrad, I ran one of the nation’s oldest collegiate theater companies, worked at WFUV, Fordham’s award-winning radio station, and held internships at NBC’s Weekend TODAY and MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.
